It keeps saying failed to connect to server, I’ve started playing in New Jersey and I live elsewhere in the us..

So when I log into the game, the title page appears and I click start. I wait for the download bar to finish but once it reaches 100%, I get a big pop up saying "failed to connect to server". I have tried getting on multiple times but I keep getting the same results. I have tried: force stop, clearing gacha, deleting the game and reinstalling, and resetting my phone. But I keep getting the same message of not being able to connect to the server. I have tried this for the past few days.
It's having issues connecting to servers on both my PC and phone despite both being currently up to date, and having the requirements needed. It's been 2 days
